Sarah has been hibernating. After several years being active in the DMV music scene in the 2010s, she mostly dropped out after having kids. But then a funny thing happened: those kids challenged her, opened feelings she didn't know she had, and before she knew it, songs were pouring out of her. Songs about motherhood, in all its joy, pain, frustration, humor, anxiety, and hope. They begged to be shared with the world, to get that delicious full band treatment, to be recorded. Ranging from heartrending guitar ballads to powerful piano anthems, and some lighthearted fun in between, Mother captures the ups and downs of Sarah's journey, and invites you to come along. Come celebrate the release of this album in the place where the magic happened: Tonal Park!
